As the screen settles upon it’s geometric archetype the body springs to action. The atmosphere has been set. Powered by pulsing dystopic tones & deep roaring basslines. A new rave has been set in motion. Raster locked in, Recall loaded.

With every creation sent to the Bambinos - their world reciprocates and grows. Reawakening bygone energies abandoned and decayed. A digital realm seeking connection, music faded and forgot. Sustained by a crew of rebels - Glow, Skuff, Zap, Aelith and now Raster. DJ’s carving their path of inspiration through a rejuvenating world.

Recall is LLX’s sophomore EP, crafted over the last year in their studio during the pandemic. Oscillating between carefully programmed hardware beats and contrasting basslines, Recall provides its users a synchronized menu like a newly downloaded software plugin. The first track, Press Two, combines a techno groove with a halftime pulse, immersed in dystopic frequencies. The title track Recall loads in with immersive dub techno pads and a roaring bassline. Computing sound effects harmonize with powerful house chords. The last two tracks are two mixes of Nice One, a nod to the big room phenomenon. Providing variable drops, the first mix is a bassline brain-melter that makes your head bang, and the second mix feeds the acid freaks’ insatiable appetite for resonant synth lines.

Canadian Electronic duo LLX produce driving, energetic dance tracks which range from reflective power techno to storming warehouse jungle with occasional Garage, Ambient and Hardcore influences. Based in Montreal, the band started to exchange recording sessions when Covid-19 happened.
